Welcome to UERJ´s Digital Histology Atlas. This Atlas was idealized by the professor Luiz Henrique Monteiro Leal which has created it, in colaboration with his master and doctor students, for researchers, students and everyone who has interest on histology.

Actually, in order to continue the Atlas upgrade, the Histology and Embriology departament-in-chief of UERJ is now responsible for its maintance.
We hope to accomplish the practical and theoric studies with this Atlas, to whom is interested on increase its knowlegdement on Histology. Besides the imagens, its also available for lecture, many chapters about tissues and its systems, which were written by the department professors.
